We have an extensive portfolio of handpicked boutique hotels, safari lodges and community accommodation from which only a small selection has been listed on our website. As we think that every client is special, we select the property which fits best your requirements. This could be anything from a cosy Bed & Breakfast run by friendly owners, boutique hotels, colonial hotels, wine, ostrich or Rooibos farms, tented lodges, bush camps, beehive huts, rondavels or a Dreamcatcher Homestay with Kamamma.
But we do more......
Africa Inside Out is promoting A Better life for All. We only can achieve this through by actively promoting responsible and sustainable accommodation as this will benefit the country and their people in the best possible way. So we prefer using

2. Community based accommodation
3. Dreamcatcher Homestay with Kamamma, which is also accredited by FTTSA
4. Accommodation, which supports a social project.

What is FTTSA?
Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa (FTTSA) encourages and publicises fair and responsible business practice by South African tourism establishments. They do this by offering a certification programme (and supporting activities) that endorses tourism establishments that meet stringent criteria.

·Ethical business practice
·Respect for human rights, culture and the environment

Although we have some suggestions on our website, we specialise in tailor made holidays so you can choose your own accommodation. Even on our scheduled tours we can tailor especially for you if you have a group of 6 or more.
The way we work....
1. As we are keen to organise ‘that special’ holiday for you, we first want to find out where you would like to go and what type of experiences you would like to add.
2. The next step will be finding you the right accommodation. South Africa has so much on offer and we like to fit the accommodation to the requirements of our clients instead of our clients fitting in with our portfolio. As we tend to use the ‘lesser known’ accommodation, we cannot always ensure availability as these are often smaller of size, but of course much more personal and of excellent quality. However as we have quite a few of these on our books, we always can offer another good alternative.
3. Please browse through our selection below so we can give you a preview of our handpicked accommodation. But as mentioned before, this is only a small selection of our African accommodation!
4. Once agreed on the itinerary we will make suggestions for authentic and unique experiences and if necessary we can take care of your restaurant bookings to avoid disappointment.
Why does this holiday make a difference?
Using locally owned ground agents and proudly amongst them, those of the Dreamcatcher Foundation, who have extensive knowledge of the market and deep rooted contacts in the local communities. Their expert knowledge has been built up over more than 25 years so we can honestly say that we can show you ‘Africa Inside Out’ and promote your safety as we not only ‘speak the local language, but understand and know the local community’. The founder was named “The Dreamcatcher” by the locals of the land. Ms Rossouw, revered in communities across the land, has dedicated most of her adult life as a volunteer, to achieve access to skills, knowledge and tourism benefits and actions which would secure a more sustainable environment in the local communities.
How can you make a difference?
Africa Inside Out not only uses locally owned ground agents, but supports the Dreamcatcher foundation also by donating some of their turnover to them and we will give you the chance to make a donation. When booking your holiday, there will be an option to donate some money to the Dreamcatcher Foundation and this will be used towards the Kamamma (Matriarch) & Kidz project, for educating the next generation.
But of course if you have other items you would like to donate especially medical equipment, we are very much interested and please do not hesitate contacting us!
